HORNET T-SHIRTS & HOODIES NOW ON SALE!
Hornet hoodies and tees (long and short sleeves) are now on sale through Dec. 5. The black and green Hornet design will be printed on a heather grey fabric. The design is not sport-specific and is not dated, therefore, the shirts are suitable for all sports or school activities for multiple years. All profits will be applied to the publishing cost of this year's yearbook. You may access an order form by clicking here. They will be in before the Christmas break, so they will make great gifts! The yearbook staff appreciates your support.

HES CONSTRUCTION NEWS
Construction on the new HES campus has been constant but at a much slower pace than anticipated. Langston Construction has informed HISD that the building will not be ready for occupancy by our first day of school on August 25. The administration and school board, while stressing to Langston the need to complete construction in a timely manner, is focused on providing the most effective learning environment with child safety and welfare at the forefront. In consideration of the above, HES will begin the school year by continuing to conduct classes in the existing main building. Most classes and services will be held in the main building with a few fourth grade classes being held in HMS.
We will continue to work with Langston to determine the date for occupancy.
